Baxter International Inc. (BAX:NYSE) sees a new revenue source in vaccines and a multi-year opportunity in H1N1 flu vaccines. The healthcare company expects to see $30 million to $40 million of revenue in the fourth quarter from the H1N1 vaccine.
Baxter Chief Executive Robert Parkinson believes this is a business opportunity that will continue. Future revenue will be based on many factors, including further improvements of the vaccine and the severity of the strain.
