After a strong year of car sales, China's auto industry may be looking at a slower 2010.
The Chinese government passed a multi-billion dollar stimulus program this year, giving consumers a tax cut for purchasing Chinese-manufactured small cars. But officials haven’t announced yet if the program will continue.
China's Association of Automobile Manufacturers reports passenger car sales rose 83.6% in September from a year ago.1 million cars being alone were sold in the month of September. That growth could be a signal the Chinese government will ease its stimulus measures.
